A fencing business run by a group of hard-working locals is proving it won't be fenced in by tradition despite over twenty-five years experience in the field.

Watt's Fencing - one of the biggest fencing contractors in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs - has recently introduced fencing made from COLORBOND® steel to its stable of fencing products.

Watt's Fencing now supplies and installs Lysaght NEETASCREEN and MINISCREEN fencing systems throughout the south-eastern suburbs, in addition to its palings, pickets and gates.

Four partners, including the three Podesta brothers - James, Martin and Matthew - and Craig Drill, run the business.

James Podesta said Watt's Fencing had made the move to include COLORBOND® steel because it wanted to offer its customers a choice.

"People like the look and longevity of steel," he said.

As a keen participant in the local community, Watt's Fencing is a sponsor of the Oakleigh Youth Club Junior Football Club.

The company also recently donated a steel fence to the local Sacred Heart church in Warrigal Road, Oakleigh.
The Lysaght Neetascreen and Lysaght Miniscreen fencing systems in the colours Domain and Red Oak offer a prominent display on Warrigal Road.

The fencing systems made from COLORBOND® steel are available in a range of 14 contemporary colours, developed by BHP Steel.

All Lysaght components are engineered to stringent Australian Standards, with specially-designed, extra-strength posts and rails for superior wind resistance and extremely long service life.

Lysaght fencing made from COLORBOND® steel carries a 10-year Lysaght Complete Fence Warranty.*
